Standing out for yourself is courage and standing out for others is something beyond our imagination. It can be one’s inherent nature to be kind towards one another but working for the social stuff for others is what a selfless person does. Malala Yousafzai is one of them; she is a social activist for female education and decked with a Nobel Peace Prize in December 10, 2014.
She is the woman who deserves to be crowned. She is known for human rights advocacy and education for females and children. In the area of Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan, where the girl education was banned by Taliban, she was shot in the left eye when she was only 15 but she survived it. It was her father’s motivation to her that she didn’t give up who didn’t clip her wings. She wants to spread peace everywhere and giving voice to all the voiceless children who are still not getting the right to education.
She says- “This Nobel prize is for those who want education, for those frightened children who want peace, it is for those children who want change. I’m here to stand up for their rights, to raise their voice. It is not time to pity them but to take action so it becomes the last time that we see a child deprived of education.”
Malala is another name for strength. She spoke up for the 30 million children who don’t get their education. After raising her voice for those children, she got shot by a Taliban. She’s a woman who is incomparable who’s still fighting for the female education and human rights. The most impressive thing, after all, she endured is that she never showed anger, vengeance or any promotion of violence.
It was the goal of the Taliban to make her silent as she spoke up for the female education but that bullet made her even more fearless. This is what a courageous woman is all about; she becomes more fearless when someone tries to suppress her voice or her desires. It makes her more powerful than before and it becomes difficult to stop her. A woman is unstoppable after when she realizes what she’s capable of and even not thinking about the consequences, she fights. This is what Malala did; she’s now unstoppable who’s going to spread education and peace.
An inspiration she is!
