Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Limited (GLPC) has invited online applications for recruitment of Taluka Livelihood Manager and Assistant Project Manager posts in Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department.
Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company (GLPC) is the executive arm of Mission Mangalam, the implementation agency for NRLM. It has been registered under The Companies Act, 1956.
GLPC works through strategic partnership between large industries and SakhiMandals / Self Help Groups / Producer Groups / Service Groups / Collectives of the poor, through decentralized Micro Enterprise Ventures. The promoting companies / entrepreneurs redesign the process where intensive tasks as job-works are undertaken by Self Help Groups in their respective homes or villages as self-employment activities. Main objectives of GLPC are
-Empowering the Poor by organizing them into SHGs/Federations/other Collectives.E
-Empowerthe poor through ensuring access to Financial Services.A
-Augmenting existing livelihoods and enhancing incomesE
-Explorelivelihood opportunities through newer ventures in rural service sectorD
-Developing Inclusive Value Chains

Selection Process:

Age Limit:
Maximum 30 years
Age Relaxation - 05 years for Reserved category candidates.
Pay Scale:
Assistant Project Manager – State: Up to ₹ 30000/-
Assistant Project Manager – District: Up to ₹ 30000/-
Taluka Livelihood Manager: Up to ₹ 20000/-
Assistant Project Manager – Taluka: Up to ₹ 15000/-
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Project Manager – State / District: Post Graduation Degree In Business Administration/Social Work/ Social Science/ Sociology/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Rural Management. 3 years relevant experience. Experience in Govt. Sector (PSU), Social Sector will be preferred.
Taluka Livelihood Manager: PG Degree in Social Work/ Business Administration/Rural Management. Minimum 3 Years in Rural Development/ Women Empowerment/Micro finance/Livelihoods/Cottage promotion Programmes Exp. In Govt. sector(PSU), Social Sector will be preferred
Assistant Project Manager – Taluka: Graduation in Social Work/Business administration/Rural Science/Rural Management/Agri culture PG degree in BA/SW will be preferred. 3 Years and above in Development Programme in SHG movement/Rural Livelihoods /Micro finance/Cottage promotion Programmes will be an added advantage. Exp. In Govt. sector(PSU), Social Sector will be preferred.
