Brad Pitt wants to date Jennifer Aniston again…
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have similar feelings about their current relationship plans.
Aniston recently stated that she is ‘ready' to date again, and Pitt, her ex-husband, has shown a willingness to do the same.
According to US Weekly, he 'would dearly love to date again.'
And not just any kind of dating, either. He wants to 'find that special someone to spend the rest of his life with’.
While he may be seeking for a long-term commitment, a source informed the publication that life in the limelight makes it difficult to pursue a new relationship.
'The problem is that he despises the process and how he can't even go out for a friendly coffee without it being discussed,' according to reports.
It seems the former spouses have the same approach to dating apps, too. Following his divorce with Angelina Jolie, the father-of-six joked about having a Tinder profile at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards but subsequently confirmed that he does not have an online dating account and even said to Extra TV, "I'm not even aware how it all works." Aniston has spoken out against dating apps, describing herself as an "old-school girl."
The Ocean's Eleven star was married to Aniston for five years from 2000 to 2005 before divorcing her and moving on to a new relationship and marriage with actress Angelina Jolie.
The 57-year-old met Anniston for the first time in 1994, as was revealed in Aniston's interview with Rolling Stone in 2001.
'[He] was just a good Missouri guy, you know? ‘A normal guy,' she told the publication at the time.
Aniston, who started dating Pitt in the late 1990s, also addressed her friends' concerns about the new relationship, saying she was worried Pitt had come across as a "conceited f*ck" to begin with.
Despite this, she insisted that they were meant to be.
'It seemed weird...' she stated about their first date.
That was a really easy evening. 'It was a lot of fun,' she said in an interview on ABC's Primetime Thursday.
Now, Aniston, who married the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star in a sumptuous Malibu ceremony and remains close to Pitt, has remarked that 'it’s time' to date.
'The 52-year-old actor, who was also recently rumored to be dating fellow Friends alumni David Schwimmer- a rumour which she called 'bizarre' on Entertainment stated that while she hasn't found the right person yet, 'I think I'm ready to share myself with another.'
During an episode of the Lunch with Bruce podcast, she did say that she has enjoyed being ‘my own woman,' emphasizing that her single life has been ‘really nice,' having been in relationships since the age of 20.
Aniston, who was married to Justin Theroux for two years before their divorce in 2017, has just recently addressed pregnancy rumours and comments she has received around choosing a career over kids.
"You have no idea what's going on with me personally, medically, why I can't... can I have kids?" she told The Hollywood Reporter.
One thing she can account for is her friendships with both of her former husbands.
‘We are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another,' she and Theroux said in a joint statement announcing their split in 2018.
She even wished him a happy birthday on Instagram lately, proving that she is friendly with her exes.
