Drew Barrymore recalls asking Courteney Cox for advice during pregnancy scare

 

Drew Barrymore recently gushed about her Scream co-star Courteney Cox, with whom she was ‘so close' during a pregnancy scare when she was 21.

 

During an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 46-year-old actor reflected on her friendship with the Friends alum while filming the 1996 horror film.

 

"I remember having a nervous breakdown at the poster shoot because I was having a false sense of being pregnant," she explained.

 

"'How do you know if you're pregnant?' I kept asking. We were supposed to film this poster, but oh my God, I just started dating someone, and how do you know?' "She remembered.

 

Cox, the mother of two, was also described as "the mature, safe person in the room" by the mother of two."

 

"I was the older one, and I was the right person to ask!" Cox continued."

 

Meanwhile, the fifth instalment of the stars' critically acclaimed horror film was released in theatres on Friday.
