#Stress and Its Effects

Are you stressed? Well, who isn’t?

We all have a bit of stress in our lives. From a kindergarten kid to the grandfather of the family, all have stress in their lives. This lifestyle stress is causing a hell lot of problems for our happiness and health. Do you remember your last visit to a gyno or any specialized doctor? Did he spell the word stress out? He would have, because, stress has a clear impact on our body and invites various lifestyle diseases. Do you know stress can result in the change of serum in many hormones?  And for a female, stress can be a life changing disaster. Let’s get to know the main problems that you can face if you deal with a lot of stress.

This is the most common yet very frustrating problem found in women nowadays. The main reason for this problem is the stress.  It is a hormonal default and occurs in the reproductive age. This causes pain, frustration, irritation, mood swings etc. to the women and at times, leaves them without the happiness of conceiving. The doctors have still not found out the exact treatment for it and are struggling to permanently cure it.

Heart disease:

Stress interrupts with the flow of blood and this can cause blockage in the heart. This causes heart attacks and other heart diseases. Stress has a great impact on the flow of blood. So manage your stress level before it starts managing your blood flow!

Obesity is the most common problem of modern day society. From kids to older age groups, no one is missing out on this disease (yes, it is a disease!). It is not only a physical problem but also an emotional one. It ruins the mental peace of a human life and takes away all the fun from it. With the increase in the stress levels, the person starts gaining weight, which leads to obesity.  So stress can reduce your happiness while increasing your mass!

Stress brings with it a hangover like headache which is constant throughout the day. The most common problem with the stress is the head ache. Head feels heavy and it seems to stay forever. When stress level is high, head ache becomes a daily problem to deal with. Bigger problem is that the regular headache can turn into the migraine.

Have you realized that when you are stressed, your power of thinking positive goes down the drain. You just can’t come out with a good thought or a plan. Stress kills your thinking power, and that blocks your mind from any kind of positivity. That is when you get stuck at a particular thought, this generally happens when something not so good comes across. Stress develops depression and kills the human mind. This at times, forces people even to take their own lives.

These are some problems that can turn your life upside down. Just a six letter word stress can make your whole life hell. You need to avoid doing all those activities which give you stress and you should move to the things which give you happiness. Leave the work-load in your school/college/office/business premises and go out there to have some ‘me’ time. Relax, have fun and add a bit of life to your life. Stress can make your life hell; you need to kill the stress before it kills your life!

#MOM: Mother Daughter Relationship

One thing that you can never rate is the intensity of the relationship with your mother. What makes a mother the mother? She gives birth to a child and promises to watch over, love, nourish and protect the child forever. My equation with my mother is a mix of love, lots of care, sweet arguments and some real quarrels. Most of the times we fight it out on home decor. We are like best friends more than enemies. We discuss, we argue, we scold each other, and we take stand for each other. What I like in my mother is her positive attitude towards pretty much everything. My mother is full of all those good traits that the adults as well as children want. She is a sensitive, smart, emotional and yet a strong woman.

Our relationship is much more than of a mother-daughter relationship, because we share a special share of time that only we can remember for the rest of our lives. This is the most beautiful relationship that you can ever have in your entire life.

I have inherited many qualities from her, such as, she and I both keep the place clean where we live in. Sometimes this cleaning habit creates issues for both of us. We forget where we put our important stuff in our home and then we argue about it with each other. The values that I got from my mother have made the strong foundation of my life. One thing that I have never been able to achieve like my mother is the level tolerance that she has. She suffers a lot everyday but still carries that sweet smile and positive attitude. I can’t do that in my life. I do not have that level of tolerance which she has.

As a daughter, my mother also teaches me, how to tolerate things and how bravely I can manage problems in my future life. The thing is I am not living in a society where girls are only meant to be a housemaker. My society is different from the society which she had while growing up. Every mother gives values to the daughter that she learnt from her mother. It is a typical Indian tradition that very mother-daughter follow. Seeing my mother facing the problems is a torture for me. She faces problems and I feel the heat as if fireballs have been thrown on my body. At times, I play as if I am the mother of my mother and I encourage her to fight for the right.

Sometimes a daughter like me, need a parent not a boyfriend and a friend. When daughter faces big challenges of her life, the only person who helps her is her mother. My mother has always been there for me in such big challenges. As a daughter I know what makes my mother happy so, sometimes I become her toy who brings her smile back on her cute face.  Like she loves when I cook something for her. All though, she taught me everything but I love to make her happy by doing some small things for her.

I want to keep her happy always. She is so adorable; she is cuter than a baby. She is my inspiration, she is my strength and she my joy.

iChhori salutes all the mothers! Mothers are not mere human beings, mothers are a feeling, mothers are an emotion, and mothers are LOVE!

SANJU – The King of Bad Choices!

In case you have not watched SANJU yet, let me tell you that you are late already. This blockbuster has been the talk of the town for a while now and it deserves that talk because of Sanjay Dutt’s controversies. Bollywood pandits and intellectuals of the outside world have been debating about the content of this movie ever since Raju Hirani declared, that he will be making a film on Sanjay Dutt. Some say that it’s an attempt to portray the real Sanjay Dutt through a movie, while, others blame Raju Hirani for trying to create a fake perception about Sanjay Dutt. Well, it’s still a topic of debate whether Sanjay Dutt made bad choices and whether he was really involved in the act of terror or not but it is for sure that the film has come out to be a very good piece of art. Ranbir Kapoor has done a fabulous job in living the life of Sanjay Dutt on screen. By the way, if you didn’t know let me tell you that Ranbir Kapoor has always been fascinated by the life of Sanju Baba even in real life, specially his fleet of cars!

Let us not judge whether Sanjay Dutt is a good person or not and lets focus on the movie SANJU.

Ladies, one thing is for sure that you will get some dreams about Ranbir Kapoor after watching this movie because he was already too hot to handle and for this role he frequented the gym even more than before and came out with a damn yummy body. So while you feed on his body in your dreams, let me share the story line with you (filmmakers won’t quite like that but we are known to break the traditions aren’t we?).

The film follows the life of Sanjay Dutt, his relationship with his father, his dive into alcoholism and drug addiction, arrest for involvement in the 1993 Bombay blasts etc. and what not.

Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt (Sanjay’s mother) has a brief yet meaningful role, the scenes of Sanju baba with father and mother will move you to tears.

Sunil Dutt (what a personality!) tells Sanjay to tackle the problems of his life with the help of ‘USTAAD THEORY’ by listening to the songs of Majrooh sultanpuri, Sahir ludhianui and Ahand Bakshi.

Sanju baba and his girlfriend Ruby (played by cute and smile queen, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja) are looking very adorable and disturbed (I know!). Sanjay Dutt asks her to come to the marriage registrar office but he himself never turns up (no wonder all men are called dogs!).

Sanjay dutt was on drugs the night his mother Nargis Dutt passed away in the hospital. His mother passed away before the release of Sanjay Dutt’s first film Rocky but she had written a letter to Sanjay Dutt saying that the premiere must go on. Sanjay had meltdown at the premiere of his debut film “Rocky”. It was at the premiere that he told his father that he wanted to quit drugs (goosebumps!).

When Sunil Dutt the father takes him to a rehab center in the US, he is given a form to fill, in which he has to tick all the drugs he has used. And guess what, he ends up ticking every drug on the list.

Sanjay Dutt just couldn’t control the urge to pump some drugs into his body, when he escapes from rehab center in America; he not only begged on the streets but travelled for 12 days to a friend’s place in New York to borrow some money for drugs.

At the consulate event Sanju was forced not to sit in the front row with his father and sister. Sanju wanted to read a speech for his father to tell him that father was his hero but sanjay’s speech was canceled in the last moment. And the most emotional bit which makes the Sanju Baba look so sweet and naïve is the dialogue when he says “agar baba 1 saal or zinda hote toh wo baat sunn paate jiske liye unke kaan taras gaye”. He is referring to the judgement which proves him not guilty as a terrorist!

Quiet a good movie but being a female you won’t like him saying that he has slept with hundreds of females including the prostitutes! But take a deep breath and think about it. Good or bad but boy, the guy is a bull!

Priyanka Chopra Kicked ‘STEREOTYPES’- setting new rules of DATING

Priyanka Chopra alias Piggy Chops has been busy writing her own rule book ever since she has joined the famous world of Bollywood. She is the cover story these days for her affair with Nick Jonas. Piggy is not following the old school guidelines which are usually followed by every chhori in India. She has not chosen her partner the way normal girls do. This time PC is setting a new benchmark in the industry to choose a partner. She is a role model for many a girls around the world and she is setting up a very good example of ‘how to follow your gut and do what you want to do’. More importantly, Priyanka is breaking the stereotypes which girls have been abiding by so far, well almost!

Let’s look at the those stereotypes which are being kicked out by our beloved Priyanka Chopra-

She is taller than her partner, so what?

Priyanka Chopra is visibly taller than Nick Jonas. And guess what? She didn’t even say goodbye to her heels. What a bold ass Chhori! She keeps her high heels on while taking a confident walk with him. It’s amazing to see them walking hand in hand and rest of the world has just adored them so much. Here’s a great piece of learning from Priyanka that the height should never come across as one of the deciding factor while choosing the partner. It’s just a short mentality that has to change, period.

He is more than 10 years younger to her, holy shit!

Oh boy, Nick Jonas is younger than her by more than 10 long years. So?. Is he not mature enough to understand her thoughts? Some so called mature men have big number of years behind them but they are as cold as ice. What will change if a boy is younger than you? Is there anything which is going to affect your relationship, obviously not? It’s just stereotype thinking created by our respected elders of the society, which I guess must be broken. Priyanka is being criticized for dating a younger guy but she couldn’t care less. A boy can marry a younger girl but a girl can’t, why? Is it because it is followed by everyone? Go ahead, break this tradition and choose a person for his qualities not his age.

Not from the same culture?

‘Choose a man who is of your cast, religion and community. Don’t choose the partner from a different culture’, this is the general suggestion which is thrown by pretty much everybody in our disciplined society. But I don’t understand why should we keep this criterion for loving or choosing anyone? Who are we following and why? Who laid down these norms of choosing a suitable partner? Who are they? We should love the person and his quality, not his cast or culture.  And Priyanka Chopra is breaking this thinking and she is creating a new format of her love life. Kudos to Piggy Chops!

She is Independent and Famous

Priyanka is the celebrity of the world not only India. She is highly independent and rich. And she is dating Nick Jonas who is also famous but not as much as Priyanka. Is she breaking the stereotype thinking of those who believe that women should date more famous and more powerful men only? Hats off to Priyanka, she is shutting down the doors on stereotypes.

iChhori says thank you to Priyanka Chopra for taking bold step of choosing her partner in a non-conventional way. She is setting an example for all the girls who look upto her for the inspiration. Ladies, listen to your heart and worship your wish. And more importantly, don’t forget to ignore the stereotypes!
